1990 Mustang RPM's dropping almost stalling

If you can't get it off in tact, yes replace it. That throttle body is filthy, def needs a good cleaning. Open the blade, spray carb cleaner in there and take an old tooth brush and scrub away. Then spray some more cleaner in there to wash away the residue. Upon restarting the car, it will be loaded up w/ chemical now, hold the pedal down to the floor just long enough to allow the car to start and clear out the chemical. Don't hold it WOT while it's running. Understand the procedure?

DONE!!!!! I cleaned the throttle plate and the idle control valve. Replaced the gasket and started it up. No more idle fluctuations!!!!! I honestly think a lot of it had to do with the gasket. It was so bad I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a vacuum leak all on its own. Thanks again so much PRO50SC! I am even more happy than I was when I got this car a few days ago! My first car and my first ICV repair. =)
