Default When would an adj fpr come in useful?

title says it all - when is an adjustable fuel pressure regulator neccassary? Would a stock fuel pump work or would i have to upgrade the pump to use the full potential of the adj fpr? and of course fuel injectors would need to be upgraded(maf included)? would u see a gain on a stock motor if u had the upgraded fuel delivery? or would u need the upgraded hci to see any gain?

You will not see increased hp on a stock motor by increasing only fuel delivery. You need to increase air flow, and the fuel related to that air flow, to increase hp. I have never used an adj fuel regulator, not on my past 300 rwhp 306, nor on my current 425 rwhp 369, but that is not to say they are not useful for some situations, such as a modified speed density car, or to avoid buying larger fuel injectors.
