Default What injectors?

What size injectors should i run in my mustang? I have a 306 w/ forged internals, Trick Flow HCI, mass air, bbk cold air intake, and short tube headers. I have a set of 30lb injectors, but i was wondering if that is too much for my setup. Should i get 24lb injectors instead? And what should i run for a mass air meter?

24lbs have good flow and support around 350-375 HP? It depends on the power your car is producing? I personally would go with 30lb injectors. You're probably near the limit of 24lbs injectors. 24lbs would still probably work in your car, but if you plan on more mods? Id just go with 30lbs.

I have a nice pro-m 80 mmr mass air with the 30# curve in it it is the plastic meter with the air filter on it if you want to go that way. the R is for Renegade back when NMRA Renegade had to run mass air meters. I know it is good and will guarantee that it is. I have good feed back on many sites and on EBay also one of the mods on here is a friend and I am sure he will vouch for me. His screen name is Mjr46 Mike is his real name . Pro-M has them for $309 I will sell it for $200 you pay shipping. LMK thanks John

you can use the 24s and they will be fine, you can use the 30`s and they will be fine, really depends on you. you wont be near the 24`s max duty cycle with a tfs topped 306! Unless you use a turbo or supercharger that is....

BaltRavens what part of WV you in.
OP if you have the 30s use them while the 24 will work if you step up to a stroker later down the road you will need the 30s anyway. They give some room to grow.

Since you have the 30's, I'd run them. 24's are likely enough for what you have, and would idle better, but not enough to care. Something in the 75 to 80mm size would work great for a MA.

ok thanks for the replies. uedlose, i may take you up on that offer. Has anyone run C&L mass air meters? Also, would my car benefit much from a dyno tune with a custom sct chip with this setup?

Fairmont also have family in Bluefield and Charleston, so I travel around WV often.

Some people would say no, but I say having it put on a dyno by a good shop can really pinpoint down things like fuel/air ratios and the computer tuned up perfect to your equipment. When your car has a computer it regulates everything sends messages back and forth, and when parts are off the computer can be off and you're not getting full potential out of certain parts. I would recommend a dyno tune it will help get your car in peak shape. A custom SCT tune is the way to go with Mustangs 86+, its what I believe anyways.
