Default Just ordered: 3.73 Gears

Just ordered my 3.73 gears from mustang tuning. 225.00$ ant bad, I got the motive bearing and installation kit with it. So I cant wait till I get them. How long dose it take to install the gears?

i did a whole rearend swap in about 6 hrs total. this is over three days, but thats with breaking a shim, new bearings and seals, and a new diff. isnt too hard, as long as you know what youre doing. and with good tools.

dude, take my advice (since ive done it). watch out with the shims on the sides when reinstalling the diff. you might need new shims. not sure if thats the case, but i tried puttin mine back in and the napa bearings were litterally a hair wider and smashed one shim. that sucked. plus, its wise to replace the bearings while its out. its called preventative maintenence. might as well do it all at once.
