Default Possible causes

Alright guys. I'm currently deployed overseas, but my car is back home. I'm going to have my brother-in-law do some work on the car before I get home, but the car is having an issue:

The car will start, run, idle, and drive normally with no problem at all. When the car is in neutral(manual trans.) I can rev to 4000-5000 RPMs no problem, however, if I'm in gear, and I try to WoT the engine will bog. It feels like it's missing, but if I accelerate normally or anything other than completely WoT it's not noticable. The two things I can come up with on my own is the head gaskets or the little black vacuum tube right after the MAF. Any suggestions?

It could be a number of things , However I would actually rule out the head gaskets or a vacuum leak if it runs and idles good other than wot. I would be more inclined to think the coil is breaking up under load when you go wot or your fuel pressure is dropping off. (weak pump or bad filter. )

Well I was planning on having my brother replace cap rotor wires and plugs for me along with the fuel filter. As far as the fuel pump what are the specs on stock ones, how much do those run, and what is the difficulty level of replacing it?

88lph...if planning upgrades to motor in the future, go straight to a 255lph
