Default Dome Light Blues...

I have a "new" 90 lx vert and I'm working through miscellaneous issues. The dome light was unplugged (mirror lights / plug). I plugged it in and the lights stayed on with the doors closed... I bought two new switches for the doors thinking one or both were bad. One of the old door switches, passenger, has only 2 wires. The driver's door has 3. I'm assuming one wire is hiding out in the passenger fender somewhere.

My questions is, can someone confirm that both switches are 3 wire? How bad is it to pull a fender bottom half to check for wires, etc.?

New switches are in and the light stays on so something else is bugging out.

Thanks!!!!!

The problem is either the switch or a short somewhere between one of the switches and the light. Disconnect both switches and close the doors. If the light goes out then the problem is with one of the switches. If the light does not go out then you have a short somewhere between the switch & the light. Good luck...

Thanks... I will check that. Shouldn't there be three wires to each switch?

I don't know. I'd check the circuit diagram for your year/model car. But usually the lack of a wire makes a component stop working, not work more often.
