Well last night i was getting home from work and noticed a new noise coming from the engine. Parked it and thought it was time to add oil.., as it burns about 1qrt a week. Woke up started it and sound is there. Car drives normal and doesnt smoke. The only time i feel and here this knock is at a stop. At first i thought it was my clutch, got to work and sound is comeing from the bottom of the psngr side of motor.? Oil press is good also..., time for rebuild?

You can try that but it doesnt always work. Best way to pinpoint the noise is with a mechanics stethoscope. Either way if its a lower end noise the engine needs to be pulled .

OK so the sound is coming from thew front off the motor.., around water pump and balancer.., any chance that either of these make a knocking sound?

Check for balancer wobble as its running could be a bad balancer. Or pull the belt off and see if the water pump pully has any play in it Ive seen water pump bearings go bad and the impeller inside clatters against the pump housing.

wow lol You got alot of noises goin on at once huh. I hear a bearing squeaking and may an exhaust leak. Maybe its my old ears getting bad but i cant hear a definate knocking , but if Im hearing it the way I think I am it almost sounds like one of the connecting rod bearings is clattering.

Loose flywheel bolts is also a possibility. Drive it up on some ramps and get under there to narrow it down.
