Ok, first off this is my first ever post so plz bare with me...

Info... 88 mustang gt 5.0 ho MAF 5 speed

just bought the car and this has been done by previous owner, under drive pulley, removed smog pump and egr is unhooked, still mounted but unhooked..

this is what i've done...

new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. sea foam in gas tank and new filter

car has a rough idle and will hit 2500 rpms when it starts, every time cold or hot.. only for about 3 secs then it idles down to about 1200...

problem is that it acts like it's running on about 6 cylinders, very little power, bad stutter and vibration...

no popping or back firing, just a dead miss

thx... i will try that in the morning, also gonna pull upper intake and clean injectors and fuel rail

Definately clean your Maf tps and change or clean your iac valve/module. if it doesn't clear up check your o2 sensors, if that's good then individually clean your injectors if possible or just test them, if all are checked and still runs bad check cats and spark plugs if your still stumped then ask mattdel Dawson or venomantidote lol
