Default Forgot TDC when Removing Distributor

Well i goofed. I've been having quite a few problems with the car lately. One being i broke the distributor's holding bolt inside the block. Not related though..

Today I took the distributor out without cranking to TDC cause i was frustrated and trying to get work done so i forgot and immediately after, realized what i had just done. However, i took the distributor out a couple days ago and i marked it at TDC then. So my question is, if i take it to TDC again, and then use the mark i made a couple days ago, will it be fine? Otherwise i don't know what to do.

Thanks in advance

Move balancer to 0 degrees timing, drop dizzy in aligned with #1. Attempt fire. It will either be perfect, or 180* out.
Retime afterwards.

Alright so that's a yes. So what happens if it's off 180 degrees?

Pull it out a tad and spin it so that the rotor rests exactly 180* from where it just was. Don't forget about the movement from cam meshing.
