probably the pump...if you replace it get a walbro or oem ford only

Yeah mine was mainly when it was cold...I would try changing the pressure regulator first. They are cheap and are very easy to change. It is mounted to the fuel rail right next to the intake manifold on the passenger side. It's held on by 3 Allen bolts. The upper intake manifold has to come off and unbolt the fuel rail on that side
