as far as i know and what i want to do is get an egr delete plate wich goes in place of the spacer instead, then the lines must be plugged....

im trying to find out if there are any drawbacks to deleting the egr before i go and do it...

no drawbacks and no advantages. it doens't really make a difference either way.

egr is not in effect under full throttle so you won't gain or loose any performance. (assuming its working like it should.)

What does that EGR do anyways? My car came with the spacer, but the inputs are just capped off. How would that effect the engine all around?

Thanks,

Alex

egr- exhaust gas return. it pumps some of the exhaust gases back into the intake to be burned again for emmissions reasons.

it has no effect on performance.
