Well you need a DVOM, and you can probe the terminals which correspond to the brown and white and I think its gray and white connector wires on the sensor. rotate the throttle shaft and make sure theres a steady change in resistance. if it jumps or the meter jumps back in forth the sensor is prolly bad... And do the same for your Idle, leave the car off and disengage your wiring harness connector from your idle air valve you can use that ohmmeter and measure the resistance between the terminals of that valve. I think resistance is between 7 - 12 or 13.. If its not then you know to replace it..... Its just measuring volts in them....</P>
