Ok thanks, not to stray to far here but, the wierdest thing happenned today. I checked my oil, because I had a striped valve cover gasket screw that wasnt tight for a while and it was seaping oil, I took the bolt out and and put it in further so it would bite, and then put the nut on, and was able to tighten it up real good. In the past the "low oil" light came on when I was like 2 quarts low. When I decided to check the oil today, the light never came on and the "oil pressure guage" remained at normal range but, much to my surprise, the dipstick was bone dry! I put a quart in and turned the car on to see if the oil pressure was normal and the oil light was not on. I checked the oil again cause I just couldnt believe it, and the oil was almost full again?! could the dipstick not have gone all the way down. It is kind of just zip tied into place. Remember thats not the original motor in that car. I dont know what happened there. Apearently there was oil and the dipstick didnt read it, the first time.....Im still wondering wtf?...Anybody?...

I guess the above post was so silly, it warranted no response. lol! Anyways, its a true story but, everything is fine, I guess it was just a freak thing. The dash DOES tell me when oil was low, and now that I know the oil guage is pressure and not temp, I can keep an eye on it. But all is well.
The original story about me breaking up at high rpm is still happening-imprived after new wires but, now it does it intermintenly, sometimes pulles all the way through each gear with virtually no back firing at 5000 plus, and sometimes it starts poping at 4500?!! I will do the fuel filter and plugs soon....we will see.

Ok Im getting really annoyed. Did the fuel filter....NOTHING. The only thing left is spark plugs(although NGK Iridiums that are in there look pretty good(. In line fuel guage shows 40lbs so the car is not starving for fuel. Ran fuel injector cleaner in there after the new fuel filter. My buddy says its gotta be ignition related. Timing would not do this........and EVERYTHING IS NEW!
Im stumped
