Question about the cam bearing

I notice on the cam bearing one oil hole on the bearing is open and the other one is closed. Should the other oil hole be open? Or is there just one oil hole opening?

Oil is only fed thru one hole.

Why does my old block have 2 oil holes? So some 5.0 blocks came with 1 or 2 oil holes? This block with one oil hole is from a Explorer, not sure if that makes a difference.

maybe HO blocks had 2??

I thought the Explorer 5.0 motor is HO?

From what I've read the Mustang 5.0 HO block is exclusive and not shared with the Explorer. The Explorer however uses the heads (GT40) and intake from the 93 model Cobra engine.
