Default Recommended Breaks

tonight i ran my car red. my gt ran good after being parked for a several months. but after driving i smell the breaks. i know its from slowing down and stopping at high speeds but would i need to change them soon. If so what types should i consider and what are some good street performance breaks out there. And what do all of you got under your car's feet

umm, can u hear squeaking or grinding coming from the brakes or something?? if you can SMELL the brakes, then quite frankly you're running the **** outta ur car and need to just stop that lol. as far as replacing the brakes, i'd go to parts stores around town and price out some pads/rotors if you think you need them.

Does squeaking/squealing mean that I'd need new pads?It only does it sometimes when Im stopping and when I turn sometimes.

It could mean that there is brake dust in the calipers.

As for the replacement brake question. If it just pads you want to get, then go with Hawk. If u r looking for rotors as well I recommend the power slot rotors with Hawk pads.
