Default Intake Questions.

hey guys i was wondering a few things. If i get 24ib Injectors. and get a Maf calibrated to the 24#ers. Will the computer run good? or need to be tuned. could i get a computer from the 93 cobra? let me no please.

You dont need them unless you have other mods that warrant a injector upgrade, but yes if you have the injectors and cal`d maf then the engine will run right, the ecm wont know the difference in the change...... The a9l is a great 5spd ecm and the a9p is for an aod car. but if you are in an sn car such as your info i think it is a w4ho for the aode and a t4mo for a 5 speed or vice-verse cant remember accurately...

The Cobra ECU does a much better job at running the injectors. The MAF isn't bad but like all MAFs it runs rich.

As stated you don't need 24lb unless you have some nice mods.

what other mods do you have? as they stated you dont need 24# injectors unless you have heads and cam for the most part.

Other mods to they are will be Trick flow track heat heads, track heat intake, TF stage 2 cam. new timing chain, maybe water pump. basically the upper half of engine. thats why im wondering do i just need 24# injectors and a calibrated maf for 24's?

yea u will need 24s with heads cam intake and gonna have to have it tuned for sure. especially to get the most bang for your buck out of those mods. you would be surprised ive seen cars with those mods that run good get a good tune on a dyno and squeez another15 20 hp. and a car qith a power adder can squeez huge power out of a good tune
