Default 93 fox door hinge roller

i am trying to fix the door. i got new pins on the driver side but i noticed the roller and pin was gone. i was able to find the roller but no luck on the pin. im asking is there maybe anything else i can use as a pin? (maybe screw, nut and bolt?) if i have to buy a pin i will i was just asking. also how do they go in? does the door need to come off?

ohh im sorry when i said no luck finding the pin i meant finding the old one that fell out. the roller i found in the pocket on the door panel but i was trying to find the pin, and just put it back in and i couldn't find it around the car ill try to be more descriptive next time my bad

Oh. well, in answer to your question, anything the same width can be used, as long as it's smooth. Better off just getting legit pins though, as you'll likely spend more time fabricating then it's worth.

ya your probably right. its only a few bucks anyways. how do the go in? it looks like the whole area i under tension from that spring and the door wont open far enough to line all the holes up. i would like to avoid taking off the fender/door if possible

Brute force. Need a buddy pushing in on the door to compress the spring a bit. He needs to be strong enough to hold steady force once it's lined up.
