Default Main Bearings

Went out today to coat the block in oil while the crank and pistons are at the shop getting balanced. Looked over the main caps to make sure they were all coated, happened to be looking over the bearings.

I know I installed them correctly and they were coated with Lucas Oil lubricant. I know the bearing clearances were good. Why does it look like the bearings are being worn? (The first and second pics near the edge). If I run my finger over, it doesn't snag and can't feel anything. I don't know if bearings come pre-coated from the manufacturer and its just the layer coming off.

the light grey coating wears off quickly once motor is started, no worry, looks like little specs of dirt imbeedded in the bearings.......clean all stuff and be clean when assembling
