Default Need help! 95 GT Squeaks and creaks!

I have a 95 GT Convertible only thing I've changed is added Cobra rims instead of the stock GT ones. I recently moved from Virginia to Ohio and I'm blaming the difference in temperature. The issue I'm having is whenever I turn or rotate my steering wheel, hit a bump, get in and out of my car it gives off this terrible "old spring" noise.. Think like a very old spring mattress... But a lot louder. I've been told it's my strut mounts but I'm not sure if this is the case.. I also have a problem where when trying to take off the tires will spin and I won't go ANYWHERE. I'm not sure if the two are connected, my tires aren't that old and still have tread to them. Sometimes it'll even sit without spinning and my RPM gauge will go up but the car will just sit there and takes a while to "wake up" and go. I had NONE of these issues a month ago and I've been in Ohio for 3 months now. What could my problem(s) be and what's the best way to take of it? Thanks a ton once again ahead of time!

Does it have a shock tower brace under the hood? If not, that could help your squeaking problem.

It doesn't, If possible I'd like to get rid of the squeak entirely.

Do you have an auto or manual trans?
If the car is not moving in gear and the rpms are going up you either have a bad clutch (manual) , or the trans fluid is very low ( automatic ) or the transmission is going bad ( auto ) . As for the squeaks and creaks it sounds like you have a busted spring , but for right now you have bigger problems with the transmission or clutch. The 2 are not related, unless your rear upper control arms are broken or have bad bushings and the rear pinion is binding up. But Ive never seen one do that before.

My 88 did that,(squeaking) it was a lower ball joint. Used a grease needle and a very small hole in the boot, to pump it full of grease and the noise is gone.

It's an Automatic, I've been told it's the strut mounts and I could replace them for $100 but still wanted some other opinions, if the car is idling and I shake the car side to side it also squeaks. Any other quick fixes? and any idea on my other issues?
