efi swap trouble need help
okay i have a 92 mustang i did the whole v8 swap and i had it carburated but now im changing it to fuel injection i have a harness and computer from a 93 mustang gt and i have a harness that plugs into the computer hooked up to the intake and injectors and i have it hooked into the one plug on the wiring harness that comes out of the firewall on the drivers side. now when i had the carb on it all i had to do was cut two wires on the plug that comes out of the firewall on the drives side and put them together to get it to turn over but since i got the efi stuff i put the two wires back on the plug and i pluged the wiring harness on it that goes to the computer now the thing is i cant get it to turn over now. i just dont know what to do i was told everything was just suppose to plug in and work

Well, you say "turn over", and in mechanic lingo that means the starter won't spin. That isn't a problem with the EFI wiring, its a problem with your ignition/starter wiring.
Does everything else in the car turn on? Do all the dash lights come on as normal when you turn the key on? Radio, etc?

yes everything comes on and when u jump it across the soliniod the starter spins and also i know what it takes to make a motor turn over i am mechanicly inclined, im thinking there is a safety switch like for the automatic to where it has to be in park to start because it isnt pluged in because i have a 5 speed in it now and it was a automatic when it was a 4 banger so im the some wires just need put together, im not dumb, i know its in the wiring between the v8 harness and 4 cyl im just forgetting something and also i know mechanic lingo. its just something i fotgot about thats not allowing it to turn over.
