I believe in saying salt and pepper shakers hes reffering to how to check for vaccuum leaks. Id Assume his way would be to shake it across to lines and see what happens to it. You could also use a propane torch. Just trun on the flow of gas but dont ignite it, then run the tip over the vaccuum lines slowly and see if the engine changes, youll hear a rev or bog more.

NOOOOOOO. Quik is talking about the black and white electrical connectors on the firewall side of the upper intake. those had a recall for a loose connection. they LOOK like salt and pepper shakers. please, DO NOT put salt or pepper on your engine... i would die from laughter :P anyways, check those connectors, and if they look bad, clean them up with some electric motor cleaner spray, and then add some dielectric silicone on the pins.

Ok i found them, there right on the intake manifold, there like just hanging there, but what should i to, pull them apart and clean them?
