Default rear end

Hey guys im looking to get new gears but not sure if I got 8.8 or 7.5. I got some pictures of the two types of differentials gonna check it out another day. I got this code off a tag on the diff wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it. looking for a second opinion.

may be an 8.8 but it don't have 2.73's the key is the 3L 27 it has 3.27 gears, my 85 automatic had such........and to the OP, WHat year did it come out of???

it is on my 95 vert gt. I have been planning on doing 4.10s i was told not to do less than that in the vert since it is heavier aparently what do you guys think?

4.10's are fine, I've installed plenty, hardly noticable and it does not render 1st gear useless despite what some claim

hardly noticable? hmm I have heard that it makes a massive difference.

You will notice a bit of a difference I would think, the more mods you have the more your gonna feel from a gear change.
