well since ur leaning towards the TF intake and cam.. buy the whole kit.. its only like 2000 isnt it, good price.. nice kit..go for it!

thats what i was thinkin........i just wanted to see if people prefer the AFR's or not. my friend has the twisted wedge on his 349, and it runs like a CHAMP !!! granted, they are a lil worked over i think....but still. his car is freekin FAST !!!

the street heat intake is decent, but i would go with the ford racing gt-40 intake manifold.

in a magazine test it pretty much outperformed the edelbrock performer, trickflow street heat, and the new bbk ssii.

this is the tubular one. yes it's 600 dollars new but you can often find them used for cheaper than a new street heat.

testing was done with afr 165's on a 302.

the stage one cam is a good one but your best bet is a custom cam. its more, but it will pay off with performance.

aren't you planning to run nitrous?

actually the rpm,and rpm II are better suited for the AFR set up they are better matched.......i don't see the gt40 out performing the rpm series....but like everybody knows it's the set up around the intake.. one might out shine the other it's trivial

me ?? definitely NOT !!! i will on the Honda, but not on my 'Stang. too many damned options.......thats the ONLY bad thing about a 5.0....theres soo many parts, you cant decide on one setup......at least i cant anyway.

dude you should look into the thumper package..less than a grand and its heads/cam/ and timing chain..pretty good deal..and i hear it flows quite well

AFR all the way, Id make it with the Edelbrock performer and the stage 1 cam would be nice but I dunno how well itd work with so many different kinds of products for a top ends, but go AFR for heads fer sure.

Im running ported n polished e7's, I say AFR's tho because my buddy had a set of the 165's on his 91 lx and they were unreal with just a cam in it and sum bolt ons and the heads he was running low 13s i htink not sure on that one tho.
