Default 95 tranny options???

I have a 95 gt 5.0 in need of a 5 spd trans. I found a T5 from an 86-89... Will that work in my car? Thanks

I'm 99% yes, but some part of me wants to say that 94-95 has a longer input shaft. I feel like I'm wrong on that, but not sure. Someone here will know.

sn95 have a slightly longer input shaft The foxes had a 7.18" input while the sn95 used a 7.85" . I think what most pple do is swap the input shaft , retainer and bellhousing from the sn95 trans to the fox trans to make it work.

I thought I might have to make some modifications... I guess I'm just going to save for a rebuilt one for my car as I have limited tools And am not too comfortable working with transmissions. Thanks guys

Yeah, if you feel comfortable enough to swap a transmission you won't have trouble swapping the input shaft.

Anybody got a link for a good DIY guide? Btw I can't use any of the parts from my old T5 but I have a rebuilt t45 laying around if I could use the shaft from it... I still have my old bell housing tho.
