Default Overloading fuel on low end and take off

I have been having a problem with my 86 gt overloading on fuel after idleing for 30 secs and longer. It wants to floods its self out and jerk and carry on till i get to above 2000 rpms and then its fine. I have tried adjusting my fuel pressure to different pressures and cleaning throttle body and egr valve. Its seems like it runs real well at 30psi, but most people told me i should run it around 38 to 39. The timing is supposidy set at 14 degrees. It is also haveing a kind of idle surging. sounds like it has a mild cam in it but its doesnt. I almost couldnt take off in it today it kept missing and dieing out. im thinking of setting the pressure to 32 or 34 and run it like that but that seems low for the mods i have. let me know what you all think.

here is a list of mods.

94 heads on stock flat top pistons and yes i have had the clearence check
edlebrock performer intake
mass air with 94 computer and 19lb injectors calibrated to 19lb
65mm throttle body.
equal length headers no smog, off road h-pipe and flowmaster exahust.
new distributer, cap, coil and rotar button. bigger fuel pump *** well and new fuel filter.

Just leave the pressure at about 35. You should be fine. Set the pressure at 35 then disconect the negative terminal for 15min. Hook it back up and let it idle for 15min, then drive off. You ECU will relearn the new pressure and adjust itself accordingly. Try that and see what happens. Anything over 36psi is too heavy for the 19lbs injectors. Keep it at 35 no more than 36.

well i backed it down some tonight, but of course it cooled off alot outside so that could affect it as well and it ran like a top. i let it idle for 20min and no overload. i havent checked the actual reading with my pressure gauge being i didnt have it with me at work. but will adjust it to 34 or 35 tomorrow. know i have heard mixed things. some people say you should do it with the vacum line off and some say with on. which is it.
