Default ecu beeping steering wheel swap

1990 stang air bag steering wheel column changed to an 89 tilt steering column. Now the ecu beeps after the car is started. I have removed all air bag equiptment. whats the trick to stop the beeping?

It's not the ECU, its the ABCM. Blue box behind the center heating ducts. Unplug both ends and discard along with the rest of your airbag goodies.

I did the same swap and mine looks pretty close. The biggest issue I had was getting the paint match correct for the "black" of my interior vs the "black" of the donor car.

The only picture I have is kinda crappy...

I just wish Fox tilt was tilt COLUMN and not just tilt WHEEL... Kinda goofy...

I do like having it though and the air bag would probably do more damage than good with me. I extended the seat brackets about 3". I'm 6'4" so the tilt "wheel" + seat bracket mod makes the car a good bit easier to get in and out of. Plus on the highway I can set the cruise, slide the seat WAY back, and chill. I can still slam the brakes, but can't depress the throttle to full without stretching for it!
