I know they are all 1/4 inch rivets that i need to put my glass, regulator, and lock actuator back in my door but can anyone tell me wha length i need? I think 1/2 inch for the regulator and 3/4 inch for the window and lock actuator. 7 rivets total. Thanks

I prefer to replace window rivets with nuts/bolts instead of new rivets. Add a little blue lock-tight to the threads, snug it down and you’ll be fine.

i still want to know the correct rivet sizes but "petrock" you have realy got my attention...what size bolts?

I’m not sure what size it is. I’d have to take my wifey’s car door panel off to check. I’d just get a micrometer (available for less then $10 at most auto parts store) and measure the length of the existing rivets. Then drill them out and measure the inner diameter of the whole the rivet went into. Then get nuts/bolts to match (plus a little extra length for the nut).

X2. I used nuts and bolts for my regulators and glass.... stainless button head allen bolts for the door locks. Much "gooder" than rivets. lol.

went with 1/4 by 1 inch bolts. The car smells the same as it did with rivets. thanks!
