If I go cowl (IF!) - I'll go with the low-profile steel version from NPD.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Body shop still hasn't really done much to my car after two days... I am anxious to get her fixed and back home... don't they know who I am? LOL!

Why spend $100 on pins when Autozone has them for $12.99?

I had el cheapo pins in my Plymouth Road Runner and they rusted-out like crazy... we'll see how these UPR pins withstand the elements!

Yeah, probably so. BTW - I lived in North Miami Beach for a couple years back in the 90s... loved the weather, and the sights wern't bad either!

My UPR pins are still perfect a year later. The clips could use some freshening up though. (Daily driver sees ~25k miles/yr)

I don't recommend this approach to everyone (depending on their personality), but I show up to the body shop EVERY DAY with my camera in hand to document the repairs.

ALL of my cars and "heirlooms" to me, and all work must be properly recorded.

That might light a fire under or their ***, or result in crappy work being done to your ride.

Your call!
