Default help with roller rockers

I wanted to get some opinions from you guys on rocker arms. I'm in the process of building my motor and on the heads now. I have a 306 with a tfs stage 1 cam, gt40p heads. I wanted to know which rockers should I go with 1.7 or 1.6. which ones would be better for my setup.

1.7 rocker arms will give you .530/.542" lift with that cam. I'd be concerned with PtV clearance. Cam duration is what gets most people. You'll also have to upgrade your springs

I think that you'd check your piston/valve clearance no matter what rockers you use.
Comp Cams makes some very good rocker arms.......

yup, trickflow advertises that cam with 1.6

i think 1.7 would be too close for comfort, it is for me anyways

I ran the 1.7's with the factory cam for a couple years, and then with the Crane Cobra Cam for many years (.529/.513 with the 1.7's, with TF heads). More recently, I ended up with 1.7's with a custom cam in my new engine, to get .613/.610 (with AFR heads).
