hard start after installing powerpipe

hard start after installing powerpipe
I just installed my powerpipe and vortech bypass valve. It is now very hard to start the car when its cold. If it is warm it fires right up. Is this possibly because it hasnt been re-tuned after installing the power pipe? thanks for the help
