I did the t5 swap in my car about 10 years ago. Best thing i ever did. Anyway i have always had a toggle switch to turn the reverse lights on. How can i make it so they operate like a factory t5 car when the tranny is put in reverse?

2 wire switch on the top of the casing near the shifter.

i know the two pronged switch on the tranny but i dont know how to wire it back into the car to make the lights work when tranny is in reverse.

nobody knows about this? I have not found a write up that is very clear on this.

If im not mistaken the power to the trans switch comes from the turn signal fuse, and the switch just completes a connection to the lights. If you have a ground to the bulbs , then just run a wire that is hot when key is on to the one wire on the switch and the other wire to the hot wire of the bulbs.
