ok ill check that out, thats been a problem ive beeen having is gettin them seated litereally pulled the upper intake off like 10 times trying to seating them, i can find out if i spray carb cleaner on the injecters while the car is running right? would that cause a low vaccuum reading?

Yea I knew it was reading low, ive heard with the cam I have, tfs2, that vacuum, will be low when idling, my question is that they are now pushed in as far as I can get them, can I spray carb cleaner around the orings and if it revs up then I know I have a vacuum leak, be it not pushed in far enpough or bad o rings right?

If you had a lot of trouble getting the injectors seated you may have rolled the o rings up , or even split a few of them. I always put some diametric silicone grease on the orings and they slide right in.... The vacuum leak could also be coming from a leak in the lower intake if you slid the gasket down when droping it on the block.
You know come to think of it don't use carb cleaner to check for leaks... It is a pretty volatile solvent and may damage rubber or painted part.......... Use starting fluid, or even an unlit propane torch ... the propane will be sucked into the leak and even out the idle.
The best way to find a vacuum leak that is not obvious is with a leak detector that injects pressurized smoke into the system .. the smoke will be forced out the leak.

I replaced all the o-rings, that helped alot! my vacuum is now around 16 or so at idle, idle is a little high around 900-1000. but its still doing that surging thing, could it be misfire? Ive dealt with misfire engines before...plenty of times, and they are all more defined, if that makes since, thanks for all your help and nymore would be great!

A lot of times when we change the stock intake with an explorer gt40 intake , it surges a bit as the ecm takes the new flow data and relearns the correct air/fuel mix. Try resetting the ecm and doing an Idle relearn on it. Mine still surges a bit for a couple min when it is cold , once it warms up it idles fine..... Let the car come up to operating temp and see if it still surges or if the idle comes down to normal.
