GT40 heads - exhaust and valve covers

GT40 heads - exhaust and valve covers
hey all.. thought i heard somewhere that if you have GT40 or GT40p heads, you need a set of headers that will fit specificaly for GT40's.... and what about valve covers? same issue?
if anyone can lead me to some true information regarding this, id love you.
