Default 1995 mustang GT 5.0 trans problam
i have a 1995 GT 5.0 auto trans shift fine @ normal driveing but when i stump on the gas is revs to 6k for about 6sec befor the trans kicks in any clue why befor i replace trans ..

What have checked on the tranny? How many miles on it? Does it have a shift kit in it? Have you used a tuner on it to change the shift pattern?

wtf?? it's an aode with obd 1 so no tuner really available, unless after market pms / system used, OP, check fluid level, if good, = could be time for a rebuild

WTF .Yes, it can have a shift kit in it. Yes it can have a B&M electronic shift controller on it. tuner maybe the wrong word for it. I agree, it maybe time for a rebuild .
