Default mass air sensors pics. whats the difference of these?

can somone try to translate the numbers on these two different mass air sensors for me and what they mean? My c&l mam is supposed to operate with a stock mass air sensor and is currently using the one in the first pic which is seems to run slightly better on than the second one.

thanks just found out that about 5 years ago when i bought my 80mm mam and sensor with 30# injectors off ebay i got screwed. The sensor is for a 1993 cobra with a 70mm meter!!!
So i have been running 93 cobra sensor for 70mm meter and 24# injectors in a 80mm meter with 30# injectors and a non cobra ecm. NO wonder my 352 stroker is running rich!!! I feel like an idiot. i been thinking it was a c&l meter calibrated right for my injectors all along.I didnt know as much back then and i thought i had c&l all this time and never checked it until today.

It is a 91 T-Bird/Cougar unit going by the F1SF. F1=91 and S=T-Bird/Cougar. Not a 93 unit.

91 Mustang LX 5.0, MAF F1ZF-12B579-AA , AFH55-03B , 1808
So, this is Mustang, and 55MM throat, right?
I have one I can get, not enough cash handy, but a friend found a bunch on evilbay maybe I can afford right now. The base number 12B579-AA is the same, prefix can be different, but the ones I am looking at are 55MM.
Will any year/model work, as long as the base number, pin numbers, and bore calibration right?
One I see is from a 95 Mustang: F1ZF-12B579-AA or AFH55-03B OEM . I have no idea what the last letters after the 55 mean, this one being 03B, mine being the same. Others have different last bits.
Some are nuts, saying 91 Mustang, with (if you blow it up) F67F-12B579-BA , 6A11-2. Can't be right.
What is the interchange we look for? Bore and base number, or do some go six wire and specific prefixes needed?
Thanks.
Dave

95 mustang is an f2vf

It is the first 4 digits that tell you the calibration.
Match the first 4, and the afh** number.

Been a year.
Thought about selling it as-is, as they had no money to fix it, and neither did I.
But....second granddaughter arriving (surprise), finally got a job in his field, so I dove into it.

MAF was NOT the problem, even though codes said it was, so my reading of input and output voltages was correct.
Had to have a friend wring it out in his shop....even he could not figure it out. He called a buddy at Ford, buddy said "computer".
Apparently this vintage was the only time they had computer issues (or so it was related to me), and the computer will throw all sorts of oddball codes (which it did) when going or gone.
Rebuilt computer (cheap!) and it runs fine, no light.

Had to do the PS rack today, puking out the right end.

Gotta do a swaybar link, probably pads.

At least he can depend on it for work transportation, so I'm happy!
