Ok, thank you.

One more question, what about something along these lines?

Amazon.com: ACT FM4-SPSS Sport Pressure Plate with Performance Street Sprung Clutch Disc: Automotive Amazon.com: ACT FM4-SPSS Sport Pressure Plate with Performance Street Sprung Clutch Disc: Automotive

Is there a specific disk compound or material that I should look for?

Cant speak for either but stay away from organic clutch material. Thats a stock clutch and it will not hold up well to what you are wanting to do. Then you will have to buy another clutch and waste money on a cheap OE replacement.

Id try to stay will a kevlar clutch if possible.

Ok, thanks. I should probably just bite the bullet and spend the extra money now on the 3+

Trust me you'll love it. I was skeptical when my co-workers told me to get it. I thought it would be overkill for my then mostly stock 5.0 but I was wrong. Only clutch Ill buy again. We also got another guy at work with an Infiniti G35 to put one in his and he loves it.

Shock loads are what kill parts. This is why some people say in stock form they can break.. and others can run deep 11s years on end.

so... it depends on how you drive it.

My goal to to have a budget street engine.. but launch it hard when I go to the track several times a yr. So for me I'm not sparing money on the rear end or tranny.
