Default Speaker wires not working; where do I run new ones???

Hey so I am trying to install speakers and a head unit into a 92 mustang that did not come with one. The head unit is installed and works fine (using factory amp bypass). But upon testing my speaker wires with an Ohm meter, I found that only 3 out of the 6 work:

Working:
-Both dash speakers
-Back left

Not working:
-Both door speakers (One door is new and has never had a speaker in it, and I can't find where the wire goes. The other door is original and has a cut wire I can see next to the ecu)
-Back right (can't fine a wire at all)

I wouldn't mind just running new wires under the carpet and into the back of the stereo but I don't understand how 6 speakers can go to a 4 channel amp.

Do they get split/daisy chained somewhere? Where do I run the new wires? I can't find where the harness wires and speaker wires all go.

Thanks for the help
