Default Chirping/rhythmic squeaking

Hey guys, I just bought a 95 5.0 and it started chirping/squeaking in a rhythmic pattern, it's not the distributor I don't thing, and its not the belt. I have already tried holding the distributor down, and oiling the pulleys/ belt dressing the serpentine belt. It sounds like the noise is coming from somewhere in between the distributor and the intake manifold but I can't really pinpoint it. The noise gets faster when the rpm's go up. Please help me fix this problem.

Its likely a bearing on one of the pulleys such as the alternator , smog pump, water pump, idler etc. Coming from the location you indicated likely to be the idler pulley or water pump.

take the belt off check each pulley for bearing slop and noise then start the motor with the belt off if the noise is gone put the belt back on get a long scew driver or pry bar and listen to the end of it while you touch the bolts or brackets of the pulleys and water pump housing

Thanks guys. Also, I forgot to mention after I really get on it, it won't go into reverse. If I drive normally and don't hot rod it, it usually goes into reverse fine. But if I drive it like I stole it, after it's like reverse is non existent. Any ideas?

Noise = first two posts were right on the mark.
When the bearings are going out it's not uncommon for them to not make noise when first starting, make growling noises, or chirps. (chirps = dry bearings)

Tranny = Sounds low on fluid to me.

I put the car up on the lift and turns out a pulley was rubbing up against a cluster of wires cased in a plastic housing. Chewed right through it, thanks guys. Just happy it wasn't bad bearings.
