Default Cam Walk
I ran into an issue with my Cam walking back n forth in my new 302, I'm running http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...ng-Short-Block with a e303 cam and comp heads, I already have a thrust plate but the cam is stilll walking anyone know a fix for this?

Bigger thrust plate I guess. Maybe an issue with the block?

Add a shim and remeasure end play.

If I remember right there is only supposed to be about .007 play to the cam with the thrust plate installed.

I'd check and see what you have.
