Default 83 v6 5 lug swap help

hey guys ive tried looking alot but found very little info on this question.
I have an 83 mustang, started life as a v6, now its a 5.0 from a 91 gt.
i want to convert to a 5 lug set up. partially to rid myself of those useless stock brakes, and also to fit some 15" 5 lug wheels. my question is, in order to do this swap, do I need to find rotors, hubs, calipers, and spindles from any v6 or v8 mustang from years 1994-2004? I already know about the ball joint issue and its fix. and about the two 83-92 6 cyl or 4 cyl ranger driver side axles with rear drums. I will be using parts from the local junk yards to help keep the cost down alittle. thank you for any help guys.

Thanks, I played with the idea, though I'm not too concerned with read disks. But that year mustang is hard to find in either engine, and for the cost of one not running I can get the parts much cheaper. Seems to me that people out here ask for a lot more then those cars are worth. I've been looking for a 96-98 gt 4.6l like I used to have. But no such luck. But I'm mainly trying to find out what front parts I need for the swap.

I did the conversion on an 88 LX, front and back discs. I bought a kit from SSBC, which didn't go well. As my 5 lug rims wouldn't fit the new front rotors provided in the kit.

I converted the front to SN95 spindles from a 2000 I believe and the rest of the brake parts up front are from that era. The spindles ran me $300 from a scrapyard, which I think you can buy from mustang retailers reconditioned.

id be very hard pressed to spend that much... heck this is 1200$ running and driving and youd have 5 lug wheels till you get something better granted i dunno where the OP is

http://savannah.craigslist.org/cto/3820178402.html

heck here is a GT for 1200$ http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/cto/3811521467.html

with something like the cars above you could actually do your conversion for completely free if you spend a little time parting out the car..

i agree. i would have went that way but here in the great state of CT salvage yards are into raping you for used parts. I also have no where to store a car while i try to part it out.

That looks like a decent car. Those wheels are hideous. lol. It saved me a big headache of searching for parts by just buying that kit, thats why i did it. Good luck to you.
