OK im new to this whole thing but i need as much help as i can get i tried looking to see if anyone else asked hte same questions i did but i cant find it so i was wondering i took the manifold off my 89 5.0 and i was wondering how to port it upper and lower if possible i have no idea thats what u guys are here for but first i wanted to know what i could clean it with first to not damage it its got oil caked on the inside rings if anyone can help with these simple questions that would be great thanks .. tristen

Ok... For your next post, PLEASE use some periods or commas or even a bunch of spaces, its kinda hard to figure out what your reading. But i know how it is.

Anyway, Im not sure entirely what your asking... I think your talkin about how to clean everything up??

Id say get a set of gasket scrapers, and stuff a cotton rags into the intake ports while your scraping, and you can also use carb cleaner or engine degreaser, although engine degreaser smells like diesel fuel. Vacuum all the scrapings up, and pull out the rags, being careful you dont get any crap in other ports
