Default msd 6btm question.

Hi guys I was wondering if someone can shed a little light on how this actually pulls out timing. Reason I ask is cause I see guys with mechanical distributors running them?
How does it delay spark? via coil?
I was thinking of using this but can't see how it does what it says lol.

it pulls timing proportionally per lb of boost, a vaccum line runs to it to give it a signal

thx for the quick reply. How does It physically pull timing? It doesn't rotate distributor. I'm just thinking off the top of my head. Does it just delay the coil firing?
