Will bigger flywheel fit old starter?

Will bigger flywheel fit old starter?
So I had my old flywheel machined, and then I installed it yesterday with Loctite only to find that my new 10.5 clutch and pressure plate does not fit it. I now realize that my old clutch was actually only a 10 clutch, that came with a smaller flywheel. Which is weird considering that the engine is a post 1985 5.0 (fuel injected). So I ordered a standard size flywheel to go with my standard size clutch (10.5). But I just realized a problem; will the new flywheel fit the old starter? Wont it not? Because if the flywheel is bigger, the new starter should run into it. What do I do about this??? Help!
Thanks

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the difference in the flywheel size is in the surface where the clutch contacts the flywheel. The outside diameter, tooth count and whatnot is the same.
Considering you already ordered it, compare them when it arrives.
