My car is missing power

My car is missing power
Hey guys, my car has a problem where when it heats up it runs pretty bad. It feels like theres a lot of missing power.
When its cool outside it runs like a champ, feels 150% better. It's really weird. When its acting up it'll smoke a little black if it's revved, and sometimes backfire (if its revved standing still). It hesitates when you get on it. It feels like the car has to catch up to itself.
I have new o2 sensors, plugs, wires, distributer cap, rotor, ECT and ACT sensors. The MAF was also cleaned. The car will not run without the MAF sensor. I just put seafom through the top-end to clean it out. I'm pretty sure there isn't a vacuum leak because most of the time I have a steady idle. Please, anything you guys can advise would be great. I had a mechanic look at it and he couldn't figure it out. Fuel pressure is good as well. No codes, and the car is 100% stock. It's weird.
Thanks guys,
Joe

RE: My car is missing power
It could be alot of things. But according to what you said, it sounds like the fuel filter. Have you changed it? If not, that might be the problem. If you have, check your TB, and if it's dirty, remove it and clean it. But I don't think that's the problem.

I just changed the fuel filter about 3 weeks ago trying to solve this problem. My TB might be dirty though, but I don't think it could cause this drastic of a problem and only occasionaly.

RE: My car is missing power
It's black smoke, and there doesn't look like theres any water in the coolant or vise versa. Can a completely stock stang blow a hg? Would it also run like a champ for 5-30 minutes if its cold out? It runs amazing. Is this possible with a blown HG? It could be a small blow I guess...
