Lifter tap? motor knocking? bad header gasket?
just a few weeks ago I started hearing this sound from my engine bay. I have heard that it could be a lifter tap or exhaust leak because of a bad header gasket but I doubt its an exhaust leak. The right side of the motor (when standing infront of the bay) has a clicking sound on a cold start but seems to get quieter when the car warms up. Car drives fine still has power nothing different but has a ticking sound. A few short videos below-

Sounds like lifter tapping to me. If it goes away after a min our 2 of running it is probly a lifter taking a bit longer to pump up.
If your oil pressure is good, you can start changing the oil often. It could be a bit of carbon or something in there. Sometimes frequent oil changes will help clean things up a bit if there is a lot of oil carbon build up. Maybe some seafoam in the oil or marvel mystery oil lol .
Or pull it apart and start checking parts. I wouldn't drive it too hard while that sound is present.

My oil pressure gauge reads about 60-80 on a cold start after driving the car drops down to about anywhere from 20-40 it varies. I don't drive the car too often it depends and not such far distances or hourly trips. Oil was changed with royal purple when it was tuned back in April. Id hope that an oil change could fix that. I would pull it apart but I don't have those skills yet. Any idea what it would cost with parts and labor to fix the problem if needed too? I know different places have different labor rates, ill be going to a mustang shop I go too if needed

compared to how some people treat their mustangs, I seem like baby. I have owned the car for 3 years and the clutch has been dumped about 5 times total! 3 burnouts, only way I ever really drive the car hard is doing anywhere from 1st to 2nd gear rolls. Dumping it otherwise on these tires is useless haha

Honestly im not sure, when that sound occurred the car was not started for over a week. I was waiting for a little while before seeing the mechanics and showed the owner the video he said it could be a broken pushrod. But i remember the sound had stopped when they checked it out. Oil pressure was good and the mehanic reccomended a oil change for some peace of mind. The car had a full synthetic oil change in april and i probably havent even pit 1000 miles in it if that since. I just hope it doesnt come back.
