Default msd 6al and duraspark

Can I use a 6al box with a duraspark distributor? And iirc I can't use a 302 dizzy on a 351 block, right?

You cant use a 302 dizzy in a 351 the deck hight of a 351 is taller and the oil pump shaft is bigger.

But yes you can use a msd 6al box with a duraspark dizzy , I had the same set up on my 68 302 .

Yeah you can. The msd should have come with a booklet with a bunch of different ways to wire the ignition pending on which type you want.

Am I going to need an adaptor plug for the duraspark to the box? I haven't bought anything yet, just shopping around. I'm thinking about just getting a distributor from a 79 f-series or ltd from the auto part store

Find an MSD 'technical manual' it will show you how to hook things up.....

yea you definatly need a manual for the msd box. There are several different models of the 6al box so you need to look and see what one you have.

Try the msd web site they have all the user manuals for down load I think.
