Speed Sensor Eliminated

I bought a cable, took it to the Hobby Shop and realized they gave me the wrong cable so I eliminated the sensor all together. Mine is still not working anyone know if I have to go change it our for the one for vehicles with speed sensor, I thought cruise just wouldn’t work?

put the speed sensor back, the ecm uses the input for more than just cruise
