Default help with new cam

i have decided as i rebuild my motor that i really don't wanna put it back in with original cam are there any cams that run right with the 95 computers and if not how do i get it tuned i know on 96 and up you can just buy a tuner hook it up and run thru the instructions but what about on a 95 anything like that? or do i have to take it to someone. also i really am not looking for alot of power cause i ain't changing the head i just want a good sound what could i get out of just puting dif rockers on it? i have heard it can make a really good sound and would that need a tune?

I have heard many times that the stock cam really can't be beat for a stockish setup. There is a lot left in that cam even after you use something like GT40 heads and bigger MAF and TB. If you just want a lope then look at the Thumper series cams. Remember, power should be first. The sound is a byproduct from a good engine combo.
