Default 5 lug swap 89 gt hatchback

I want to swap the 4 lug to 5 lug on my 1989 GT hatchback, my question is can I find a wrecked our other wise no good 94 up with the five lug and bolt it together? Will a v6 car work if so or does it have to be a gt? Would I be better off buying a kit? Hope this is the right place to post this and hope you guys can lead me in the right direction...

Thank you

94-95 v6 and gt brakes are the same. I swapped to 5lug in my 88. I bought a wrecked 94 gt and robbed the brake parts from it.
I did buy the north race cars brackets, a brake bias off ebay, 3-2 port conversion off ebay, seems like a the 94 brake booster, 88 master cylinder, hollow out the 88 distribution block.

From what I remember the 96 and up cars are different from the 94-95. Buyin a wrecked 94-95 is the way to go imo. I paid $600 for a 94 gt tooked brake parts off and parted out rest on Craigslist and got free brakes in the end.

Also u need 87-93 length 5 lug axles. 94/95 are 3/4" longer. U can get ranger/aerostar axles I think. I just bought new axles from Jegs # 555-62612.
For ebrake cables u need (2) fms m-2809-a and (1) fms m-2810-a.

The fms m-2809-a are almost impossible to find any more just about every place says N/A, however the fms m-2810-a is still available.
