Default Oil in air inlet tube???

So my car has been running cool according the temp guage so today I changed out the thermostat and put in a stock thermo. What I pulled out was a 160 degree stat. I also installed a mechicanical temp guage so I can see the actual temp. Car seems to be running better now.

I decided to take off the K&N filter to clean it and noticed that there is an unusual amount of oil in the MAF and in the air tube going into the TB. This is my first time with a mustang so what would be causing the oil in the tube?

I know that worn rings can cause blow-by and saying that one of the times that I started the car after it had set for an hour or so I did notice a small puff of smoke come from the tail pipe. So what should my level of concern be and is there anything I can do to lessen the oil problem? (Besides an overhaul).

Check your pcv valve. Often times they get clogged. I cleaned my throttle body and it had a lot of oil like yours does

Usually a small puff of blue smoke on start up is worn valve seals and/or guides, that a valve job will take care of, but it's not hurting anything.

If the PCV valve is cloged, can i clean it out with some carb cleaner to get me by. I know they are cheap but its a 20 mile round trip to the closest parts store for a $3 part.

Also does the TB have a paper gasket or an o-ring behind it, i want to take the TB off today and clean it, but if its a gasket then ill wait.

Its got a paper gasket. As far as the pcv, i dont think i would. I was mistaken when i said its the valave, as normally it is the mesh below it that is. And they are a pain to get out, so spraying carb cleaner might get some in the lifter valley, which would then go to your oil

Well I was meaning clean it off the car. What do you mean mesh under to valve?

So I guess I'll run to town and get a new valve and gasket to clean the TB. when I put the sensors beck in the TV is there a correct way to adjust the TPS. I was reading the TPS adjusting article to get a better WOT signal, but to me it sounds like you can not adjust the TPS on the 94-95 cars. Is there anything else to keep in mind while doing this?

So i went out to find where the PCV is, all i could find is a rubber hose going from my oil fill neck on the valve cover going to the air intake tube, no pcv. Do the 95's have a PCV and if so where is it located.

Getting ready to head ouT for church then parts store and dont want to buy something i dont need.

Yes they do, its in the back of the lower intake. Hold on, and I will grab a picture for reference.

The only reason i'm suggesting the pcv, is that vents the crankcase pressure. Where your pressures may not be significant enough to start blowing out seals, it may be pushing oil out of the line that connects your oil fill tube to the air inlet piping.

That is a clean looking car btw.

Here is the location. I do not have a pcv system on this, so I plugged the hole. On stock intakes, there is a mesh down in that hole, and the valve sits on top where that golden plug is on mine.
